Red wine, lipstick, ketchup - some of your favourite things can cause difficult stains. But now you can say goodbye to even the most difficult marks with our comprehensive stain removal guide. Just choose the fabric and the stain type you need to treat. After you have select what caused the stain you see the result below. It's that simple!

Always follow garment label instructions when pretreating and washing your clothes. For colored garments, test an inside seam for colorfastness. If the garment is washable, follow the instructions below.

Apply corresponding Persil gel onto the stain, cover the stain and let it set for 20 minutes. Then wash with corresponding Persil powder or Persil Sensitive for baby clothes. If the stain remains, soak with a handwash dosage (approx. 71ml ) of corresponding Persil powder diluted in 10L of lukewarm water. Allow the garment to soak for up to 30 minutes or until the stain is gone, by weighting the item to keep it totally submerged. Wash with corresponding Persil powder or with Persil Sensitive for baby clothes.
