Select Stain Type
Always follow garment garment label instructions when pretreating and laundering your clothes. For colored garments, test an inside seam for colorfastness. If the garment is washable, follow the instructions below.
Harden wax with ice, then remove surface wax with a dull knife. Place wax stain between clean paper towels and press with a warm iron. Replace paper towels regularly to absorb more wax and to prevent transferring the stain. Once most of the wax is absorbed into the towel, sponge remaining stain with stain remover; then blot with paper towel. Alternatively, melt wax by Applying hot water directly on the back side of the stain (garment) or by placing the back side of the garment on a hot wet towel. As soon as the wax melts treat immediatelly with corresponding Persil gel. Then wash in the maximum temperature recommended on the garment label with corresponding Persil powder. Note: If any wax color remains, relaunder with a color safe bleach for colored fabrics. For white fabrics use a chlorine bleach, but then afterwards wash garment with Universal Persil powder once again.
