Wool generally should be dry cleaned. Always follow garment label instructions when pretreating and laundering your clothes. For colored garments, test an inside seam for colorfastness.

Quick solution: For non-washable garments apply lemon juice and salt to absorb the color of the stain. Let it set and brush away.If the garment is washable, flush stain as soon as possible with cool water. Pretreat with a wool compatible stain remover. Then wash with Perwoll Balsam Magic and a color safe bleach (if recommended for the garment). If dry clean only, take it to the dry cleaner for stain removal.
