Select Stain Type
Wool generally should be dry cleaned. Always follow garment label instructions when pretreating and laundering your clothes. For colored garments, test an inside seam for colorfastness.
Quick solution: Soak stained garment in cold water for 10 minutes or rub the stain away with a tab of aspirin and water. If the garment is washable, for fresh stains, pretreat with wool compatible stain remover. Then wash with Perwoll Balsam Magic and a color-safe bleach (if recommended for the garment). If dry clean only, take it to the dry cleaner for stain removal.
